His word is our rock, our truth, our sword,
He is our redeemer, our savior, our Lord.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made,
The love for His children will never fade.
He makes the darkness tremble, demons flee,
No more chains, you have been set free!
No more living in fear, in darkness, in shadows,
How? Why? What does this possibly foreshadow?
You can live in the light, as He is in the light,
Tell others about this flame, let it spread overnight.
But take caution, the devil looks to discourage,
Do not fear, our savior will give you the courage.
Spread the news over seas, over hills, over valleys,
Every street, every corner, every alley.
We are the chosen ones, the disciples, the church will awake,
The devil quivers, he shivers, he continues to shake.
We are not afraid, not stirred, not even shaken,
Because we know that our sin is gone, it’s been taken.
Jesus, our rescuer, the lamb was led to the slaughter,
Through His sacrifice, I am saved, yes, I am His daughter.
Now I use my gift, my talent, put my thoughts on paper,
To show that God is not dead, not a whisper, not a vapor.
